UNDERSTANDING THE PERICARDIUM AND ITS BLOCKAGES
The pericardium is the membrane that surrounds the heart.
Because of its central position and its anatomical connections with all the systems of the body, it plays a key role in how life circulates within us.
With every experience we go through — especially when we hold back — the pericardium can be affected.
When it becomes restricted, it can disturb circulation throughout the entire body, through its connections with all our systems.
A blockage corresponds to a contraction at the cellular level.
The natural pulsation of life reverses, movement freezes, and the overall balance of the body is affected.
Over time, these blockages may appear as tension, pain, or dysfunction in different areas.
WHAT CHANGES IN THE BODY AND IN LIFE
When blockages release, the natural direction of the body’s pulsation can be restored.
Tension releases, circulation improves, and the body regains a freer, more fluid and more harmonious way of functioning.
Moving out of holding allows life to flow again.
What was frozen can start circulating again, with direct effects on how we feel, act, and relate to our daily life.
This can be experienced very concretely: a more open breath, a sense of circulation in the body, a stronger presence — and deeper shifts in the way we live and position ourselves.
EXPERIENCING FREEING THE PERICARDIUM
Freeing the Pericardium is experienced through individual sessions, workshops, or courses.
It is a direct approach, through the body and felt experience.
It is not about analyzing or understanding, but about experiencing what is happening where movement is blocked, allowing life to regain its direction.
Each person moves at their own pace, depending on what is ready to come back into movement.
AN APPROACH DEVELOPED BY Montserrat GASCÓN
Freeing the Pericardium is the result of more than 30 years of research on the body, cells, and the way life circulates within us.
It is now transmitted to trained practitioners and continues to evolve through the research of Montserrat GASCÓN.
